Default ls6 intake manifold

a buddy of mine is selling the intake manifold off his GTO (2004 I think ls1)
he said that the intake is a ls6 intake which flows better then the one on my 99 z28. They look kinda the same, but does it really flow better? he said he would sell it to me for $250.00? If it does flow better is that a good deal?

5-10??

I wouldn't get so worked up over HP gains. Lets just say its a mod worth doing for the money.

I'd jump on that asap. That is an LS6 intake. They normally go for the $300-$350 range on here. He'll probably get nearly $400 for it on ebay.

Buy it now!

hopefully your friend wouldn't lie to you and sell you an ls1 intake lol. a few ways to tell. there is no air hole near the throttle body, and if he takes a picture of the bottom of the manifold it will be flat, where as the ls1 bottom will be rounded.

I checked with him and it's an LS6, it doesn't have the ERG valve thing. It's on ebay tho and I don't have the money still. It only has like 30 minutes left

I'm not good at linking but heres the item number 170250173229

I agree with Yenko, wouldn't worry about the HP numbers from the manifold itself, it definitely will be a good mod for when/if you upgrade your h/c
