LS4 Performance - Just got my Magnaflows on my GXP:)

Man I love to sound of V8 power, Quite at Idle and mean when driving.

Man I'm jealous of your car in red, it looks f'n sick. Wish I would've found a red one! Exhaust sounds good. Did you get rid of the hooker mufflers?

That does sound really good, do you still have the resonator on it? From what I've heard the MF catback always seems to be louder on the GXP's than it does the Imp or Monte SS's, wonder why that is. Maybe it's just my imagination.

Yep the resonator is still on, and I will be keeping it on. I will be taking the car to the shop soon to have the exhaust checked and weld them, I hate the clamps.

I just bought a K&N intake kit:) it will be in on monday hopfully.

Yeah there not centered, It goes into the shop in 2 weeks to have the exhaust fixed and welded.

Your trottle body looks different from my 06 GM must of changed some features on 08s

Yes it is electric but the differance is visual your TB is half black.

Ah, the good 'ol ass dyno. When you haven't done before/after dyno runs after a modification, but you can feel that when you nail the throttle on the street, the car throws your ass into the seats a little harder... so you know you're making more power even though it's not quantified via a "true" dyno.

lol, yeah they do stick out far. When I go on my vacation next year in the summer I will be taking my car to a muffler shop and have it put on right and welded. The tips are pushed in all the way.

I had the muffler shop cut about 1/2" off the inlets to the tips because mine were sticking out a lot too. Best $3 I ever spent.

Yes hate em want those Magnaflow ones but I don't think you can buy them without the catback system. Actually picked up set of the discontinued SLP tips that fit in the bumper cutout (and deleting the Magnaflows for a single Classic Chambered muffler like they use on the Cobras). I'm putting that where the res use to be. Get you a soundbite when it's done.
