Talking 1st race with my TT ZO6 (Sorry no vids) LONG

Maybe some of you guys know that I sold my T/A about 3 months ago and I've been working my a$$ since then and saving all the money I can but its worth the wait

I bought 01 ZO6 TT STS with 701rwhp with 14psi with less than 30K miles

the car been down for over 2 months since the owner wanted to sell it
so it has a few problems took it to the dyno to tune it and found the computer was locked

So I dyno'd it to see the A/F

Here is the vid read the info of the vid

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=thle99wxFQk

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=73URWW-iZuk

After that I was heading home and I saw red 04-05 SRT10 Viper and All I can think of is how in hell can I beat Viper with me only shifting 6100rpm

So I stopped next to him at traffic light and I cant believe it this guys rolled down his window and asked "Is this ZO6" I said yeah

THEN he said " THEN YOU HAVE NO CHANCE"

I said O.K lets try 30mph

from 30-130mph I beat him by more than 5-6 cars and still pulling while shifting 6100rpm

After that we stopped and talked it turns out that he is not the owner of the car its his Brother's car and he is a very good friend of mine.

All I can say I'm very happy with car and I cant wait to tune with 13-14psi

That's on 7psi without a good tune, I'm assuming from what I've read. But how in the hell is 7psi more and a tune gonna equate to 200rwhp????

simple... this formula isn't a dead-on science, but it holds to be pretty true...

if at 14psi he's making 701rwhp, then 701 = N/A*(1+psi/13.7), so N/A rwhp = 701/(1+14/13.7) = 346.7rhwp

so at 7psi, it should make 346.7*(1+7/13.7) = 523.85rwhp ... so its ~177rwhp difference... close enough...

Good kill! Why did you think you'd have trouble with a stock Viper when you still make 500 rwhp? Unless it's modded they only make like 440 rwhp and weigh more.
