Default Sail Panel Sub question HELP ??

I just bought an ss two weeks ago and it has the Monsoon. I just noticed that neither one of the sail panel 6.5" midrange subs are making any sound what so ever. No noise at all. Is it possible they are just blown or does this mean I have some wiring issue?? I have some new kicker 6.5" on the way. But now Im worried they wont even do anything! Any help would be much appreciated.

they might just be unplugged. i considered doing that when mine went.

and make sure the two left most sliders on the EQ aren't all the way down.

It could be that they are completely blown although I would think that some sort of sound (static, crackling, etc.) would come from them unless the voice coils touched and seized completely. The only real way to tell is take them out and see if they are plugged in. Then use another working speaker to see if you get sound from that location. If no sound with a known working speaker then you could have a wiring issue or an amp issue.

i just replaced my sail panel speakers today, and my original ones had the same problem. the new ones work fine so its probably just a speaker problem for you.
