Little disappointed...
well I had my Datsun dyno'd at a GM show-n-shine (mobile dynojet)
No prep to the car as I wasn't expecting to make pulls but I did after some poking by my club that was there with me.
anyway
'00 LS1- 40k miles-
224/224 .567" 114+4 cam (w/supporting 918's, hardened PR's)
LS6 intake
hugger headers (only headers that will fit engine bay)
2.5" off collectors to 3" back (!cats !res)
Pulled 335RWHP and 331ft/lb and then 338/325
This car in its one track appearance ran a 12.80 @111.25
Peak HP was at arond 6500rpm
Torque was at/over 300 lb/ft from 3200RPM till almost 6k
What is my next best mod to get me some more power?
I've got about another $1200 or so that I can put into the car for this summer

Do you have the graph by chance? Between the peak dyno numbers you listed and the mph on that track run, I feel like you're missing some power with the combo you've got. Is the tune dialed in? What heads are on the engine? Any data logs to share by chance?
With $1200 you could get into a pair of the PRC Stage 2.5 5.3L heads to get a bump in compression and better airflow. We've got a sale going on them currently in the sponsor's sale section and they average about a 35-40rwhp gains on cars with similar mods to what you've got.
But let us know some of the info I asked about above. I really think there's more power left on the table with what you've got now.

I'll scan the graph tonight and post it up. Its been tuned but most likely isn't maximizing everything thats there. I don't know of any LS1 specific tuners where I am. I will see what head castings I have when I get home. I will be doing some scanning of the car tonight with a friends laptop. I will see if I can get him to send me a copy of the data to share.

even a base tune with that cam/headers/LS6 intake should net 360RWHP+
get that car to a Professional tuner who can do a wideband tune, expect to spend $350-500 for a dyno tune.
If you don't have it already a ported stock throttle body $150 and a nice flowing airfilter
After a professional tune expect 375-395RWHP with your mods through a T56
your trap speed should go up a good bit as well.
If you put another set of heads on the car you will still need a professional tune

its an M6. it hasn't been professionally tuned yet. I guess the next step is to find someone to do a good tune on the car that is familiar with cam'd lsx's
I'll hold off on heads for now till I get this part sorted out and happy with this combo and save for a nice set of AFR's or something like that to make it really worth while.
Thanks for the input guys. Will report once I find time to get the car to the tuner.
