Charley @ RPM = MAGIC
I finally completed my head/cam/header install about 10 days ago and have been driving it locally to find any problems before I make the 5 hour trip to get it tuned. (I end up having one small rattle in the exhaust plate!)
This is the sum total of mods I added:
A used set of AFR 205's milled to 62CC with .040" cometic gaskets.
YT Rockers/LS7 Lifters
Guerra custom Comp cam: 224/230
30# SVO injectors
LG Pro long tubes with cats.
LS2 Chain
I took the car to Charley at RPM to have the tune done. He worked out the initial idle bugs and drove the car on the road for about an hour. When he came back we strapped the car on his dynomite dyno and made the first run. I was hoping for about 380 HP as my car is an auto with 3:42 gears and a Yank ST3500 stall , all of which lower the dyno numbers. After driving the car, Charley said it would be over 400! Prior to the engine work the car dynoed at 300 HP and 327 torque at A&A
So the first pull was 391 HP. After 2 or 3 more adjustments I ended up with 429.8 HP and 393.9 Ft Lbs of torque! All this is with the stock LS6 intake. It makes 300 Ft. Lbs at 2500 RPM and 350 at 3000 RPM!
Good thing Charleys a big guy cus I would have kissed him! I am one happy camper.
Another added BONUS! On the 320 mile trip down, I averaged 30 MPG.
I thought the DIC was wrong! I filled up and it took just under 11 gal.
On the way back I averaged 28.5! Not bad for a motor making over 500 HP! Thanks to Tony Mamo for his words of wisdom, Patrick Guerra for the cam specs, and Charley of RPM for his black box MAGIC!

Pretty healthy numbers Mike. Congratulation man, now get out there and enjoy the car.
I got a comment on the gas mileage that these cars can get. First off its amazing. Use the cruise and keep her moving and you get 30 mpg all day. Consider adding the u/d pully and / or Meziere EWP for even better gas mileage and a few more rwhp !!!!
Thanks for posting, glad to hear about the success you had.

Awesome results....especially considering the A4 power robbing trans!
Your a ported FAST intake away from nipping at 450 RWHP thru an auto....thats a BIG number for a stock displacement build!
Enjoy the new combo....looks like Charlie did a great job dialing everything in as well. Few people in the So Cal area have tuned as many cars as Charlie
Good stuff!
Cheers,
Tony
