Painters come in!
Guys,
I am looking to rent a Titan? 440 to spray and older house. Can/Should ...why or why not use an Oil based paint vs Latex? I am going to strip all the old oil based paint off with a pressure washer and go from there once its dry.
Also, is it true that I have to used a base coat/primer with latex but do not with Oil?
Thanks!!!!

First off if it is bare wood you must definatley use a primer. And it is not true that you don't need a primer with latex. Here is the rule of thumb you cannot put oil over latex, but you can put latex over oil so you could prime it with an oil and use a latex paint as a finish coat. Also latex is a hell of a lot easier to clean up (soap and water) compared to oil. Hope this helps
