You didn't make that clear in the other post - if you upgraded the PCM operating system to 3 bar, you have to have a 3 bar MAP sensor - and then you have to change the scaler value... you can't use the stock MAP sensor and a 3 bar OS.

Then you don't have a 3 bar setup! You can use a custom OS and have 1 bar using a stock 1 bar map sensor and the proper scaler, but that is not 3 bar. He has a turbo and needs 3 bar...

Also, he is using HPTuners, and it is not exactly like EFILive custom OS's...

1 bar is 94, 2 bar 188, 3 bar is 280 aproxamatly.

One thing to not is though, that a sensor is a sensor, Meaning that what it outputs at say 2.5 volts on one type is or may be different on a different sensor. So you may have to change the AD inputs to make it match.

For example, if you are at 2.5 volts, and you see 12.7 lbs of boost on your computer screen and the gauge is showing 15.3, then you have to make the correction or it will throw off your tuning.

i would think you should be able to tune the software to run the stock sensor, i mess with the numbers and i can get it to idle but when i check the scanner it is a 50kp and when i give it gas it goes down to 30-20kp, its going to the wrong way, the scaler is set at zero also

You will need a 3 bar map sensor to properly take advantage of a 3 bar custom operating system.

Any point or purpose in running a 2-bar or 3-bar MAP sensor with a stock OS? I've got a boost/vacuum referenced FPR, so I don't really have a need for one. Only issue I have is with the barometric pressure updating when I go WOT under boost. Leans out the idle afterwards...
