Should be around 71 Deg. I plan on doing a short burnout and launching from 1k brake stall. Any ideas on launches would be considered since It's my first time with the auto stall at the track. Any ideas for Tire pressure?

Nittos like to be hot and run as much tire pressure as you can get away with. Run it with whatever PSI your running on the street. Play with the launch RPMs and get a feel of what works best for you. Note the 60s and mph of each run, drop tire pressure gradually til you can hook.
For the first time out its more about just getting a general idea of whats happening and whats better for the car and not so much breaking records. Then next time take what you've learned and improve upon that.

Also keep track of DA, try to get the car weighed if they have scales. That helps make timeslips more comparable to others and helps you to keep up with differences in mods.

First time at the track with the stall, though.
Edit: I didn't really read your post, I thought you were sayin 600cc bike. Now I see that your just talking about some import crap car. Oh well.

Also for better ETs and MPH, try shallow staging. Which is after tripping the pre-stage beam just barely crawl forward til the stage lights first come on and stop right there. This gives you a few extra inches to build speed before your time actually starts. On the down side it could negatively effect your reaction times. Though thats just more of a mental thing and can be adjusted for.
But just being aware of where you are in the beams will make you a better drag racer. It will help with consistancy and will keep you from wondering why you ran good on one pass but not the next. Just takes another factor out of the equation.
You may have known that, but there are plenty that don't and I just wanted to put that out there.

Update: I foud the deal on this. This guy made a few runs in the high 12s, then on his fourth or fifth run he evidently got the launch just right. The car did a wheel stand to about the 60' mark then came down sideways and hit the guard rail. It jumped the guard rail and rolled a few times then came to a stop at in front of the track side cafe. The guy was unconscious and was taken to the hospital. He is in a coma and still is to this day.
Our prayers are with him.

Actually, I was just joking. Though he hasn't been on all weekend so something might have happened or he just didn't run 12s.

HAHA. I'll have you guys know that I am not dead haha although I would like to have been friday night. The track was very horrible...I mean like bad bad. The best time I ran all night was a 14.24 @ 107 w/ a 3.0 60ft!!!!!! HAHA.
I am pretty sure now by the trap that this car is a 12 car...it's just about getting to a good track. I got the nittos about as hot as you can get a tire and tried 4 differnt launching techs....still nothing but spin.
Buying a set of wheels to throw so M/T's on and going to a much better track in the very near future. Trying to do all this before I do the H/C. I would like to see what this car really has.
Bashes welcome haha....I didn't feel so bad because one of my buddies with a newly built boosted LS1 was having the same trouble.

Ya! I just could not belive how bad the tires were. I mean, I have always heard the bad hype on the Nittos...but thats a little overkill. I spun so long.......! I love them on the street...they hook very well. But the track sucks!

YEAH HAHA. I did a punch it run....1k punch it run.....2k punch it....and even a all out 3400k stall punch. At the end I was so frustrated I tried shifting manually and even holding the stall when I let off the brake and slowing taking the pedal to the floor...no help. SPINNING ALL THE WAY dumdumdum!!!
Guess I am a little used to the AWD haha.

I am used to AWD too with my TBSS but we have a C6Z that I can launch well on the street... better than anyone else I've run against but @ the track can be a different story.

If you can't tag 12s something is wrong...
Looking at your 60ft I think it's the driver... :D:devil::chug:
Good luck next time out man!! You can do it.

Thanks and I wish it was the driver haha. If you have ever raced at this local track you would understand. I think I even posted up that traction would be a for sure issue at this track. Didnt help that it was cloudy and cool all day along with a slight drizzle a few hours before the runs began. The car is an auto....its does it's own thing. I should be able to hit a 12 pretty easy on a decent track with some better tires. If not then Il spin my was to 12's with the h/c setup haha

My track is never prepped either, and my car will spin all the way down the track too, the trick is to not push it all the way to the floor, i cant floor my car at the track until the end of second gear, but i still managed a 12.84 at 111mph
:D
