Default What can or can't I do with exhaust in VA?

Well I searched online but found nothing. I need information on what I am allowed to do regarding headers, cats, etc on my Tahoe. Thanks in advance.

lets see i have true duals with dynomax bullets and high flow cats with longtubes so you can do just about anything as long as you have cats and a muffler i guess.

va state law says any exhaust that is not stock i stock is not legal, but hell, i bought my car used from a dealership with a borla and when i went to take the airpump out for a header install, it wasnt even connected...basicly, all you have to worry about is noise ordinance (which is a city not state law) and passing inspection. gota have egr/cats/etc...anything else?

fy1..my car had non of that...got to LOVE having a 6 speed where you can upshift and quiet her down

i understand, the safest way would probably to get whatever tubes you want with supporting egr, etc and get a high flow cat..just my .02, especially in hampton...state loves hampton
