help! aftermarket valve covers, gaskets dont fit ls1speed valve covers, and the orginal gaskets just seems to long, i've tryed everything i can think of, but always to long

They will fit..
ALL of the rubber GM gaskets dont line up perfectly with the valvecovers. First install the side with the dimples in it. Then as your installing the long side kinda squish the gasket together. You'll need to do it a few times. Their a pain inthe ***..
