Default Video S/C LS3 Speedo Shot

I was by myself and did a couple quick speedo shots of my dads s/c 2008 vette. Then, I threw my car in there at the end on my way home.

Nothing special, just sharing.

Oil pressure looks pretty low to me on your fbody...shouldn't dip like that. Fast nonetheless...

What could that be. I've always thought it was normal. I have a new motor and oil pump. ???

Mine was doing that recently.

I now fill to 6 quarts each change. Took care of it.

It is low. My light came on yesterday too. We'll fill her back up.

Wow mine spikes to almost 80psi at WOT. It looked like there was almost no pressure on yours. Glad you found the issue, hope it works for your engines sake...

Oh nice as rides too.

Make sure the oil is up to appropriate level. If its still doing it I'd get ahold of a mechanical gauge and put it on to test and make sure its not the gauge. Mine was doing similar stuff with the old motor, but not as drastic. I verified my stock gauge was reading consistently 5psi less than the mechanical gauge was...so now I know its always that far off.
