Default New Brakes installed!

Since I wanted to switch over to chromed wheels, from my silver 10-spokes, I decided to swap out my warped OE brakes for a drilled and slotted set. I got the kit from Mike at Rotors Online and it came with everything including the braided lines. My husband helped out with the heavy lifting, but I wanted to do the work. It wasn't to bad. Here are some simple shots he took of the work. Next up are suspension parts and then autocross.

They look great other than being on backwards, which direction do the cooling vanes sit?

I had to do the same swap not too long ago for the same reason. I wasn't exactly going for better braking, but I thought I might as well upgrade the aesthetics while I'm at it. And anything is better than warped rotors. Did you have to take a metal brush and grind down on the hub at all to slide the new one's on? Mine was a pita.

Looks great, I am doing that on mine right now. Got mine from Mike as well. Calipers and brackets heading out to get powder coated then all going back together.

They are not directional rotors (like the corvette type). So the direction of the holes and slots doesn't matter because they are not directional rotors. It's just a looks preference.

Thanks for the comments guys!

I wish I had more time to paint the calipers silver, they do look bad.

I plan on getting chrome lug nut covers and new center caps.

I can attest to his powder coating skills. He did a set of front calipers for me in his custom NBM powder and they came out mint. I will post some pics later, I havent taken any yet.
