I got called out by this guy, want to know what to expect as far as et and traps.......he is asking me for a charity run with me off the spray.....my mods in sig + drag wheels (but 28" and retuned)

2005 GT
4.30 Gear
Spec 2 clutch
C&L intake
SCT tuner with brenspeed tune
Pipes Off road h pipe
Bassani mufflers.

I am glad you doubt my car and I am getting to the point where you dont take this as fun. Almost thinking about telling you to forget it. I dont want a heated match just a friendly find out what each other has.


What do you guys think about this?????

i think it's gonna be close but you should be able to get him from a dig if hes on street tires better leave the spray hooked up just in case..jk

I think you'll take him. Those cars don't have much for top end. He may have you through 1st and part of 2nd but you'll catch him rather quickly

With that steep of gear in the GT he stands a decent chance to 100 or so but only if he's on a good tire.

Yeah that is what I was thinking, I am debating whether or not do do a dig or a 50 with him.

Does anyone know what he might trap???

107- maybe as high as 110 depending on driver/track/weather but it all depends because a good driver with that gear will 60' very well and will cause the trap to come down a bit.

Wow, they can pick up 7-10 mph with just intake, gear and h-pipe/catback, and tune......that seems like a lot.
Maybe I have more to worry about than I thought.......

I lawl'd at that **** too, literally the dumbest thing I have ever heard......take high 13 low 14 sec car, add intake and tires and drop 1.5 sec's what a ricer!

Yeah, they trap around 107ish after the basics (CAI, tune, catback). At least thats what my buddies pulled with those mods (13.1 @ 107 with a 2.1 60' on the stock tires, 3.55 gears) but that was in good weather.

You should have him though, dig and roll. Why such a high roll btw?
