Default CNC-Motorsports Roller rockers

Anyone ever use the 1.6 aluminum roller rockers from them. Part #0335021. Sounds like a good deal. Just seeing if there is any bad stories from them.

Are they the CAT brand? If so verify ratio and DO NOT buy SA rockers unless you want to damage the engine.
I bought 1.65s and they measured 1.6 CNC-motorsports did not care because they know they sell garbage. A friend lost a motor to the crappy SA tabs that rotate and allow the rocker to become unguided, aluminum chip quickly found bearings.

This is yet another area not to skimp on parts...I run the Comp stainless 1.6s and they've been in use for 13 years...Do it once, do it right...The pro mags are not a bad option either...

A lot to be said for "do it right do it once".
I spent like $170 on Proform 1.5s, then probably a similar amount on the CAT CNC motorsports junk, then the $265 or whatever it is for the ProMagnums, $20 on GMPP guideplates and $50 on Isky adjustables.
I bet someday I endup with shaft mounts which I could already have if you add up what I spent on all the other stuff.
The ProForm were actually pretty good, put like 40K on them and intend to put them on the wagon someday, even a friend who considers ProForm bottom of the barrel admitted they pass his inspection after 40K.

I have the Crane gold race 1.6 self alinging rockers. No problems after about 45K. Are these bad? I just got worried after reading this and hearing to never buy SA's. Thanks and sorry to get off topic.

The Crane SA are decent rockers, no worries. Some would question their use on a high lift cam like the XFI stuff but I believe Crane rates them to .600 and long as everything cleared it should be fine.
