Default EFI Live ?

I got a computer off ebay and had it tuned with the basic stuff removed. I got it in the truck and it ran all right. So I then purchased EFI Live. Found out it wasn't programmed like I was told it was. Before I touched it, it didn't have DBW. Now that I programmed it, it now has DBW. All I did (at least think) was segment in a 6.0 and a 4l60e and kept the VIN that came on the PCM. How do I remove the DBW setting cause thats the only thing holding me back from driving the truck...

Kevin
Thanks in advance.

You might want to pm Jesses Bubb@ Wait4me performance.

Him and Chad are the EFiLive gurus and I'm sure would have the fix for your problem.

Good Luck!

Emailed 2 weeks ago and haven't gotten a response. Working 12's and don't have the time to call.

Drive By Wire.. Got me stuffed why people are calling it that as it is referenced as ETC usually.

Mate don't worry that you have the ETC folder come up. Its normal for when you plug the V2 in. It happens like this to prevent guys that only have the Demo Version of EFI LIVE from accessing the ETC data.

Are you sure it's active?? THe software warns if the parameters are not valid. Hopefully that's what you're seeing.

To the OP, send me a copy of the tune and I am sure we can sort it out.

I am not looking for anything fancy. I just want to drive the truck. I know how to turn off the stuff I don't need. I recently found out that my ETC (i think of engine temp when I see that) or DBW is not installed as the folder turns red when I plug in the scanner. So my problem is after the tune I just did my idle goes up to 1800 rpm. Don't know why or what I did. With the tune that I originally i got it idled ok, The TPS had to be unplugged and the trannsmission didn't work. Now that I reprogrammed it, TPS is fine along with the tranny just it idles at 1800... I'm dumb *there I said it*
