got eatin by a civic :( ok so as i was driving home from the "grocery store with back seat full of food because speaker box took up trunk" (just an excuse) 
i pulled on to my two lane highway and a guy with white civic going the other way was slowly going by as i was pulling on so being the ******* i am i showed him a little v8 power little did i know he would whoop me so he makes a u turn gets behind me and i wave him to get beside me ... now i notice he has a turbo "whoop t doo" so he says 25 roll i say ok thinking to myself "another one bites the dust" well i beep three times and floor it the son bitch stays beside me the whole time and then starts pullin away at about 120 so now i am about ready to **** myself so i get beside him and say dead stop he said he spins too much so we do a 45 roll ... he beats me again we pull into the gas station and come to find out he has a stroked DOHC (dual over head cam) vtec and a turbonetics turbo with 9 psi and car completely gutted sorry guys i hate to say it but

i have stock 98 z28 with slp cat back thats it but still ....WHAT THE HELL! so now i am home embarrassed and ashamed of myself :-/

why be ashamed? our cars are not the fastest of the fast. grant it it was a civic, but keep in mind, there is just as big an aftermarket for them as there is for us. not everyone of them is riced out.
now i will give you credit, yours is stock and it doesnt seem that he raped you. also his was built pretty hardcore and stripped, so you probably just got beat becasue his civic weighs about 2000lbs. to make you feel better, if you had the 10g's under your hood, that he has under his, you would have left him wondering if his car is running or not. just remember, he built his car to run with yours stock.

yea i aint gonna lie it was bad but i guess its time to step up the game

That car was probably making a little less than 300 wheel. A friend of mine had a simliar build (Stock internal GSR, Turbonetics kit on 10psi), that would pull on my friends SS.

Well, well. . . . 4 bangers have a lot of advantages on our v8's.
My Saturn would give my z28 a even run. It was juiced and weighed only 2300 pounds with me in it.
I am also pretty sure most of you have seen the video of a SS getting raped by a 1st gen SL Saturn. If not, try the 3rd video down from here.

I hate to say it but dont underestimate any car , even if it is rice! Of course, the fast ones are few & far between but it looks like you stumbled across one. Dont be upset though, you raced a modded car. Give yourself mods equivalent to his & you would have stomped him!
