Default Issue with UMI parts hitting!

Awhile back I made a post about a loud noise that sounded like metal on metal every time u go over a bump or whatever. Well after ALOT of trial and error I found out what it was.

I have UMI Upper pan hard bar and UMI pan hard bar. The upper pan hard bar has a bend in it. Well At the bend its hitting my Regular pan hard bar when I go over bumps. What should I do. I am sure this isnt supposed to happen?

I agree, I havent dealt with them a whole lot , but they have pretty good custom care. I think they'll do ya right. I've heard in the past about the PHB's making noises due to a bushin issue, but never anything being bent.

That shouldnt be happening. Mine have way more than enough clearance. Are you sure that the upper and lower bars are in the right holes on the relocation braket that goes with the upper panhard bar?

post a pic, it will help out. Also, stupid question but are they are set up at the right angles (not upside down) and in the right holes?

Lightbulb

Is this what you have? I might be wrong, but I don't think this is designed for lowered cars.

Since the vehicle is lowered it has caused the bars to be closer together taken up some of the much needed clearance. That is the reason they are bumping, it shouldn't hurt anything at all.

Hope that helps,
Ryan
