Tranny install problem, need advice!
Hey, got a quick question. We did a torque converter install. Everything is done, but car wont move forward or backward when its in gear. Trans fluid is topped off. Driveshaft turns. We did a test and disconnected tranny coolant lines and no fluid flows??
We need some help/input. Not sure what's wrong? Any input would be appreciated please, thanks!

did you measure to make sure converter was fully seated? Did you pull the housing to the block using the bolts for the bel housing? You'll have to pull it apart to check that pump.

Thanks for your help fellas. My friend ended up making plans to pick up a low mileage 4L60e and we're gona throw that in with the stalled tc we have and do it right this time.
Just a case of bad luck I guess.

You gotta get it to click 3 times. The trans should still be ok, if anything you probaly need to rebuild the pump or replace, if it's damaged.
The last trans swap I did, I guess I got to confortable and did the same thing. Sux, lesson learned though.

We got the 4L60E last night and pulled off the old one. We ended up snaping one of the teeth-like things that engages the stall (didn't have it fully seated when we installed it). We put the stall in the new trans and rotated it and got fluid flow. We put the trans and the stall in the car, bolted it up and it runs perfect now. 4K rpm launches are fun!!!
