Default can i delete the egr only?

i have searched this thread for a while today and i see that everybody deletes both the egr and air. can i just delete the egr and still have the air? i would also appreciate pics on how to remove it and instructions. i am probably going to use the block off plates instead of the freeze plug. thanks

i used the block plate from ebay, i deleted both but u can just delete the egre if u choose to, the egr plates are one for the top of the intake and the other one for the fitting were the egr runs to on the manifold which is right next to the air hookup, they look almost alike but the egr one is a bit larger, just remove the egr hose and block it off, and block off the hose on top of the manifold just like that

you can delete either one or both. why would you want to keep AIR though?

All you need is a freeze plug and a block off plate, Almost easier to not deal with it until you do headers, that is if its in your plans

so is it bad for the cats to delete a.i.r??

I was planning on deleting egr/air and getting some high-flow cats for when I go and do my full exhaust.
