Intake & Ported TB
Looking to buy an LS6 intake and get my stock TB ported. Now do you think i should get my car tuned for these new parts or wait till i get gears and do it all at once?

I would just wait till you get all the mods done that you wanna do before you get it tuned. When I done my LS6 intake swap I didn't really notice any gains. I do think you will notice more of a gain from the intake if you had a cam but mostly stock you won't feel much, I didn't anyway

As far as a LS6 intake. You woun't get anywhere neare a 30 HP gain. Maybe more like 12 or so depending on any other mods or bolt on's your may or may not have
You can get a tune after these additions but it really won't be needed at this point in time

When i got my LT installed it actually felt kinda heavy till i git it tuned. Making me assume i'd have to tune for every major mod like this or so. As for the TB, i was actually going to have Damian from Spartan performance do it. Heard nothing but good reviews on his work and customer service

i wouldn't get a tune untell you have all the bolt ons on at least. not worth the money for a little power gain, when you cam/heads then tune is a must. don't worry about LS6, or gears first becuase you're getting both so get whatever you can afford at the time, if you don't have much top end the LS6 should help out top end. but gears will give you that punch down low, just make sure to give them the proper break in process.
