Nitrous Oxide - lbs of nitrous is too little

Seems anytime I have a race where i need my bottle im damn near out. The other night I was playing with a nova, opened the bottle hit the purge...and no cloud.....so I take the bottle out tonight and weight it...16lbs in a 10lb bottle. So about 2lbs of spray, and maybe 3lbs at the MOST last night. So my question is...when does the volume of nitrous affect the shot. The first race felt somewhat normal. 2nd Race...could barely feel it hit, so i let out. I have my bottle in the spare tire compartment, so monitoring the pressure isnt exactly easy.

For consistancy reasons I always recommend refilling at around 4 lbs. Anything less and you're really fighting a losing battle.

You may want to consider a NANO setup to use up all of the nitrous in your bottle and have contstant consistent pressure.

thanks guys...I figured about 4lbs was the limit. Ill probably just pick up an extra bottle for now...damn nano and its $600 price tag :(
