Default LT1's with factory 110mph Speedo...advice!

Hey everyone,

I have a 94' TA with the factory 110 speedo..

I read about something called LT1 scan or something that plugs into the diagnostic port and reads off MPH,RPM and other info..anyone know about this or where to get one?

Any other suggestions for adding an accurate speedo w/out swapping out the factory cluster?

Thanks!

What is the reason for not wanting to swap out the factory cluster? The speedometer is internally calibrated and therefore does not require any additional changes for the swap. Just grab one from a salvage yard, put your old odometer in the new cluster, and plug it in.

155 mph speedometer, as well as the correct mileage.

Keep in mind, if the car has a 110 MPH speedo, the computer has a 110 MPH limiter. Unless you've already tweaked the computer, 110 is all she'll go. The car needed to be originally ordered with the "Z" rated tires in order to NOT have the limiter, and the 160 MPH speedo in the dash.

I've had the speed limiter removed for some time now...I don't really want to swap out the cluster, anyone heard of this LT1 scan thing?
