Default Cat gutting quiestions

I had a quick question about gaskets on gutting my cat. After the cat is their a gasket to the cat back? could i get that gasket at auto zone?

no gasket on the y pipe after cat. it's a ball and socket type of connection on most catbacks. just put a little high temp rtv around the outer edge where the connection is made.

What is rtv? is it just some sealant from auto zone? Also I probably going to replace the bolts. Would they have them at auto zone too?

Did you already gut them? If not seriously consider keeping the cat whole and then using a pipe in it's place. Cat's go for over $60 each on a regular basis.
