Default Gearing for Turbo???

Currently I have 3.23's in mine right now. Is something like 2.73's better suited for a turbo application??

Since you have 3.23s, that should mean that you have an automatic. 3.42s are generally considered the best for a turbo app, so you are very close. N/A engines are consiidered to run best with 3.73s. Speaking of optimal 1/4 mile performance, of course, since you did not state what your goals were.

From what i've read its about a 3.42 gear that works best i'm assuming it gives it more time in the power band and not just blasting throught it.

Actually, 3.73s are usually recommended for N/A cars. Turbos are recommended to go with a 3.42 because it puts more of a load on the turbo, bringing into boost quicker. I run a 3.42, and I like it a lot. But if I started with a 3.23 (I had a 2.73), I would probably have left it in and not changed. JMHO.
