Default How to autograph the dash?
I know it sounds funny, but I want my friends to sign the airbag cover in front of the passenger seat (2002 SS).

What is the best way to do that?

I'm thinking a silver paint pen, clean it with alcohol first, then use a good vinyl protectent afterwards, NOT armor-all. I'm afraid of it chipping.

Please, if anyone has done this sucessfully, please let me know.

BTW, my friends are Sprint Car champions and former IndyCar drivers....

Paint pen and go have it cleared over. It will probably be fine with just the pen though.

Why not have it signed under the hood like GMMG cars or on your 35th LE trophy mat?

Yes, these brothers are relatively famous in the open-wheel racing world.

Come check it out at Indy Bash 2008. I'm getting together with them next weekend to do this. They probably think I'm crazy doing this....

just make sure that if you use sharpie, that you do NOT clear over it ..

the clear will remove the sharpie ..
