This guy emailed me with 3 different names - David, Dustin, & Devin. I paid him $148 august 2nd and he was suppossed to send out my rear brake kit. August 5th he goes through paypals little shipping label thing and prints a label. So i get a tracking number. The package was never shipped or even dropped off at the post office. It was a bogus tracking # since he never even shipped the goods. He told me to deal with the postoffice as its not his problem. Watch out for this guy b/c he will refuse to give you your money back

You were not scammed out of anything. You bought a set of brakes. I shipped your brakes with usps. As I have told you numerous times through email, I have a SIGNED statement from USPS showing they received your package. So please explain how I did not give the package to USPS when I have a statement from them? I even offered to fax this to you and you did not give me a fax number.
Where it went from there, I can not tell you. I even instructed you on how to file a claim with USPS for the lost package. I even told you I could file it but then you felt a need to leave me negative feedback over something that was not my fault. So refer to your emails I sent you and it has direct instructions on what you need to do to get a refund through USPS since it was insured and they did sign saying they received the item.
The other issue I had on here was when someone wanted a refund but would not return the part. They wanted a refund and to keep the part they were sold. It doesn't work that way, sorry.

its not my job to call your post office and deal with them. You charged $40 shipping gave me a bogus lie that u spent 4.50 a gallon for diesel to get it there and you expect me to call the post office for your screw up ? Yea ok. You never offered to fax anything and i told you if you indeed dropped it off to go to YOUR post office and check around b/c it would have to be there.
The bottom line is if u even shipped a package and it got lost its your responsibility to find it. You refused a refund like any stand up business man would of done

Quoted from my email which you replied your reply to with "ok.... Thomas":

I have a signed receipt from USPS that states the packages were given to them. They give you a signed paper anytime they receive packages from online labels. If you would like it faxed to you, let me know.
That is directly from my email to you and I can forward it to any mod for verification. Please come up with another lie saying I did not tell you something. There is a reason why I save every email and reply.... It seems like people always want to change the story or forget what was told to them.
Furthermore, shipping was stated in the auction where you bought the item. If you didn't like the price, then you shouldn't have bid and bought the item. Shipping was listed up front since brakes/rotors/pads/ebrake cables combined are a lot of weight. If you didn't like the price, you should have not bid on my item. You called my house and whined about shipping costs also:eyes: You were told the same thing I told you. It isn't cheap to ship a full brake conversion and packaging isn't free.
Also I stated to you that you could be refunded if it was lost but we would need to go through USPS. You didn't like that I wasn't going to refund you right then and there. I have that quoted in my emails also. There is a process that has to be followed on claims. I told you I would file the claim if you agreed to remove the ebay feedback that was not true. You still think that in some way it is my fault your package got lost when it is not. I do not control USPS.
In another message dated August 19th 6:32 you stated to me "I filed a postal claim but it is more your responsibility..... Thomas". Ok, so you said you filed the claim. I trusted what you said and figured you had filed the claim. It has nothing to do with calling any post office, as it is a simple online form you fill out but now your saying you didn't file a claim? Which is it? You did or did not? Again you seem to be leaving out details or changing what really happened here.
The item has $150 of insurance so if you did not file a claim yet, I need to know.

Tom,
I have answered your below question numerous times now. The tracking number is the insurance number when you print a label from Paypal. I sent you a link to how you can file the claim. That site also has very clear instructions on how to file the claim. Again, the package was insured for $150. If you need any other info or numbers you will need to have USPS look them up for you. The only number I have is the tracking number. That is also the only number Paypal has on record for you package although Paypal also shows that the package was insured for $150 when I look at my shipping receipt on there.

Devin,
I just got off the phone with the post office. They just told me that for a claim for reimbursment the package must be insured. What is the insurance number ? I am not talking about the tracking number that is totally different. If the package was not insured the post office can not process a claim for you. You told me you insure everything so i need that number. If you didnt insure this you owe me a refund immed.

I filed a postal claim but it is more your responsibility.=2 0It asks for your phone number, price paid for shipping, price for insurance and so on. What kind of receipt to you have that the post office indeed got the package ?

UPS is not cheap. I20generally use them for everything, however, buyers on ebay often complain about ups shipping costs. Anything I sell through LS1 Tech gets shipped UPS. You also need to include the cost for insurance in your shipping amounts. I don't ship anything uninsured.

Well my problem is you basically shipped it snail mail. And usps offers free pickup at your doorstep. I just wish you would of done it a better way. ups ground is cheap for heavy items and takes a max of like 7 days from california. Dont worry about it now. Thanks for the response though.

Dear v6rs97,
If you had any questions on the shipping method you could have asked before you bought the item. Brakes calipers, rotors, mounting brackets, backing p lates, pads, lines, and packaging is not light weight like you think. Factor in 3 gallons of diesel @ 4.65 to drop it off and the actual packaging and packaging material to protect your items and tell me the total you come to. I do not know why usps is slow on shi pping it. Feel free to call them, give them the provided tracking number (9106 1288 8230 0369 7401 15) and they will tell yo u any information they have. I have the paper signed from usps showing the package was given to them. I do not know what more you can ask for me20to do.

Now you didn't call me? I have your number from ebay and a call from your number on my caller id on the evening you called. Must have been someone else calling and complain about the price to ship a set of brakes though. Sorry to get you mixed up.
There is nothing to argue about. I have very clear replies from you saved in my email and now you are changing the story and denying I told you things. So did you file a claim like you said or not? If you did not, one needs to be filled.

I sent you a paypal request and you denied. And you tried to bitch about wasting 3 gallons of diesel to go to the post office when they offer free pickup. You are a lazy scammer and you signed 3 different names, why is that ??????

Dear v6rs97,
He lied and said he would send a harness with the seat brackets. He did not. They are junk without it.
I gave him what I considered a "nice" negative. I just bumped it up a little, I had no idea he was still telling lies. Thanks for the heads up.
He holds feedback hostage until he gets a positive, that is why he has so many.
The law says he has to give you something, or you don't have to pay. He owes you the part or a refund. Ebay won't support you, but your bank and/or the post office will.
IT'S THE LAW!

Did you file a claim like you said or not?
Some of your emails are edited. There are random numbers and = signs in them that were not there lol.
A claim does not need to be filed by the sender. Please read USPS' policy on online claims.
You also claim I did not have your address on that tracking number. Well you were just sent a .jpg screen shot from paypal with your address and that tracking number on the receipt.

Sorry you feel that way. All my sold threads are generally deleted the day an item is sold. A thread that only contains sold in the first post and ttt in the others doesn't need to take up space. If I don't edit the first post when the item is sold then I end up getting 50 other PM's about my items when it is already sold.

The numbers and symbols are HTML code which is always copied when you rip text straight from a website. The reason it doesn't happen to you is because you don't have your emails displayed as HTML.

Paypal gave him a refund. He also filed a USPS claim which will refund him. His direct statement was that he filed the insurance claim with USPS but did not want to wait the 3 weeks for them to process it and send out a check. The USPS check would be a second refund so the buyer will be forwarding that check back to me as we have already spoke about.

You could have returned them. I can pull up your pm's if you would like. You asked are they new. I told you they were. They were brand new. You never asked which style they were. You then went to install them and at that time found out afco had just released a new updated version that mounted differently. I could have easily sold those to someone else for the deal I gave you on them.
EDIT: You were even sent a picture of the shocks. You could clearly tell what style they were from the picture as they did not have the newer style top adjuster.
