Default couple of LSx cooling system questions

ok, my first question is regarding the factory twin cooling fans on an f-body. i pulled the fans and rad from what looked like a 99 camaro. can i put the fans in front of the rad and wire them to run as pushers? and second, why is the upper rad hose connection slightly lower than normal (on the end tank) and the lower connection slightly higher? is it a double pass rad, are they just not utilizing the whole rad? whats the deal?

TIA

If you reverse the wires to the fan they should run backwards. But these days fan blades are designed to effeciently move air in one direction. You may lose a lot of airflow running them backwards.

Anyway to flip the blades over?
