What equipment do I need to test fuel pressure at rail on a '00 5.7 motored (TB injection) light duty GM truck? Special adapters, fittings? I want to be able to drive truck (express van) w/engine cover off and pressure test equipment connected to check for fuel pressure variations after engine warm-up.....any help appreciated. Thanks. WJ

i got a fuel pressure gauge from sears. to my knowledge, fuel rails have a standardized fitting on them.

its on a hose so you can stick it up past the back of the hood and put it on the windshield wiper area and see it while you are in the vehicle

its similar to this one, but i sure as hell dont think i paid $40 http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_00902169000P

Thanks slayer....think it's just what I'm looking for. I wasn't sure about thread sizes on the test port at my fuel rail....again, thanks.;) WJ
