Default Lookin for an inexpensive LS

Like the title says. I'm searching for a not overly expesive LS series engine for a budget turbo build on a 1992 Fox body mustang. Lookin to make around 550-600 to the tires. The car will be light enough (2850lbs) to go very fast without gobs of power. Have some scores to settle and some mouths to shut in my area. 5.3, 5.7, 6.0. It doesn't matter. I am working on a military budget. let me know what you have. I'm not dumb and I'll pay what something is worth. Just don't throw a stock 5.3 w/ 100,000+ for $2,000 at me (had that happen at a junk yard). Tentatively looking at purchasing within the next 1.5-2.5 months. Could be sooner, could be later. Thanks for any and all responses in advance.

thanks for the responses. this project might actually get done sometime this century. You LS1 boys are are so much cooler than alot of ford guys. I know I'd be gettin bashed all over for this prospective swap on several other ford forums. Keep em comin though.

imo stick to a 6.0, lq4
mill the 317 heads, .030
use super victor with msd controller and 750 holley
a th350 will bolt right up and u can even use the 6.0 flexplate with a 10" tq converter, go with 3800, with used cam and u can even reuse the 5.0 windsor mustang headers, just chop off the ford flanges and weld on ls1 flanges, the port spacing is dam near identical
good luck
oh yea and throw a 150 hit plate on there also
