Default Foot brake with a 300 shot !!!!WOW !!

Guys I wanted to let you know I am spraying a 300 shot through my fogger system with my FAST 92/92 . So far so good.

I foot brake it to 3k , flat foot it on the light and spray 300 off the line.
1.31 60 ft's and wheels up about perfect.
Went a 9.37 at 144.5.

Combo is :
370 shortblock, stock 6.0 crank , h beams, and Ross piston made for 400 shot. Compression is 13-1
HEADS: Old lingenfelter LS6 heads
CAM ????
FAST92/92MM
NOS nozzle kit (well used to be) I have to change out my nozzles that went under the injector to fogger nozzles tapped into the intake. The old nozzles wouldnt fit due to the runners on the FAST intake versus the stock LS6 intake. I went 9.55 on a 250 hit and the stock TB and the stock LS6 intake. also.

I am using a glide with a COAN 4500 converter, 9" rear with 3.89 gears and a spool.
Of course the chassis aint no slouch either.

Just wanted to share my combo .
Trying to go 9.0's before the end of the year

you knocked off .2 with 50hp more in the jets? wow. that's ******* impressive.

oh whoops read that again... still impressive with the intake and whatnot. decent short time off the foot brake too.

Video soon, I hope.
I put a intake, TB and the 50 more NOS to get the 9.37 versus the 9.55.
Also I had 4.30's in the rear on the 9.55 pass and was crossing the stripe to high at 7550.
Now crossed at 7100.
With the right gear on the 250 hit it might have gone a little quicker. Its hard to tell.

I will keep you guys updated on how it does in the future.
Timing is 17 degrees on the 300 and the A/F was 10.0 down the track .
I think there is a little more in it but I want it safe so I wont push it real hard.

you cant post all that with no video damn it....
nice times though. my times were very similar on a 300 shot. little slower with a 9.43 @ 144 but a little quicker 60' with a 1.28 only because i was running a th400 though. also foot brake with a 4500 stall.

that 60' was a hell of a rush wassnt it?
atleast post pics.......please
what do you have for suspension?

Thats a dangerous tune up!

you should be near 10* of timing and 10.0 is WAYYYY to rich.

Rich is not safe !!!!

This is goddamn true. You should be counting your lucky stars that you didnt lift ringlands or have problems from all that timing

16* would be on the high side for my motor, they all like something a little different.

Start low on the timing, get the A/F right THEN start to add timing 1* at a time.

yea, i started at 12 or so and it took a little to get the timming to burn the strap back the way i wanted.
my new motor i run 24-26 on the 100 shot and it loves it. i could go 28 if i needed that little more.

i also run 26 on my vett with the 100 shot, but thats a dry hit, and i run 26 on my cousins car with 100 shot. it all depends on the set ups, the fuel etc etc
