I have a '98 Firebird with the 3.8L V6 and want to get a bigger air lid. I was going to go with the the SLP or FTP lid. I was wondering if they will even work with my V6?
Also, if I choose the FTP air lid do I need to get the new MAF right away or will it work ok until I get it later?

The LS1 lids won't fit your car, the 3.8 is offset. Whisper makes one - visit LM Performance's site (sponsor here) and click on V6 then induction.

I believe if you were to get ahold of the LS1 airbox assembly you could make one work...

but i'm not 100% on that...
