Default Centric rotors = awesome!

Guys,

I have seen one or more of our experts (mitchntx, trackbird, Foxxtron??) recommend these. I ordered them and got them on and I am SOO happy. Damn near the same price as the Autozone cheapies but MUCH better. Good coating on the vanes and hats and perfect crosshatched cut on the rotor face. I think using these as my C5 replacements will eliminate rotor warpage/pulsing and rust forever!

I am very happy guys, pleased pleased pleased! I am equally pissed at a local dealer for charging me $98 for a PAB but that is another story.

Bottom line - get the Centric rotors if you need good OEM replacement rotors for $15-20 apiece cheaper than Brembos!

I talked to one of the guys from Centric before.
He actually told me they are all the same rotors as Autozones, Advanced auto, etc. Everyone that carries a generic in a white box--they're all the same, they came from the same plant in china.
Any difference is the machining, and plating they recieved from the end supplier/dealer over here.
Just a FYI I guess, they work well on my car, way better than stock.

Maybe, it is in a Centric box and it seems a better quality piece, from the cut to the coating. Same steel, dunno, can't see metallurgy. I just know it's a better piece in every way I can see. I'll let you know how they wear.

Yep, I was at least one other person around here who used them for at least 40K before selling my daily driver, and they worked very consistently up to that point. Having the coating on the non-friction areas were my incentive for using them.

I'm interested as well. I looked around online and only found crappy websites carrying them.

Maybe you can get off your *** and google "Centric Rotors" . It will come up with what you are looking for in the first link probably.

Wow your smart. I did search that. I'm just asking where most people are ordering them from. I don't just send credit card info to any old jackass with a website.

Sarcasm is wasted on the internet . The first site looks fine to me (autopartswarehouse). They can also be found pretty regularly on Ebay, and that's where I've seen most people buy them from.
