Default c5 caliper only swap?

i know that c5 calipers will bolt up to ls1 brackets and will work with stock diameter rotors, my question is: is there any appreciable benefit to this? i know the design improvements of corvette calipers over ls1 calipers, but would it be worth while without the larger rotors.

why not just pony up and buy a c5 conversion kit? because the tt2's won't clear the corvette calipers in the corvette brackets.

You will lose some braking force (leverage) without the vetter rotor. Do both or rotor only. With your wheel dilemma, just go with some good blanks, Brembo, Centric, or the ATEs from Sam. If you can stand some noise, get the Hawk HP+, if not get the HPS. Stainless lines and a full flush and bleed (with ATE Superblue would be ideal) and that should be plenty.
