calibrate MAF?

Default calibrate MAF?

does anyone know where i can go, or who can do it, or what machine can calibrate my MAF sensor?? i got a new one from gm, and my car is running different than when i had my other one on, and someone told me i need to calibrate it..

With our cars, its just a plug and play right? The ecm takes care of all that. If its bigger than what the ecm is tuned for thats the only time it impacts how it runs....right?

I wasn't aware of any calibration for the MAF. I swapped with a friends once (checking differences from screened to descreened) and it worked fine. I bought a used one from a junkyard and it worked fine. I "think" you need to fiddle with the tuning some if you are using a ported/descreened/aftermarket MAF but, otherwise you shouldn't need to do anything.
