Default 383 valvetrain

ok so iam useing the xfi 292 cam for this build...can u guys push me in the right dirction of what rockers,pushrods,springs,lifters,ect to use...i want a good strong valvetrian that will hold up...i also would like 1.7 rockers but i cant find them anywhere can some up post a link for these rockers...like said before i just want something that will hold up to this cam...please help

Seeing as guys have valvetrain control issues with that cam with the recommended 1.6s and Comp beehives you are headed for trouble. Rethink things.

so u think stay with 1.6 rockers and use beehives springs...has far as i know u have to use the beehive springs with the xfi cams right???...wat pushrods and lifters would work good u think...i just trying to learn so dont go so hard on me please lol

I am saying even those who use the 1.6s and recommended beehives have valvetrain control issues. IMO the cam is a bad choice anyway. You are aware Comp's RPM ranges are WAY WAY off and you will have to rev much higher than their recommendations suggest.

yea iam aware of that this cam is goin to have to be reved high like 6500 to 6800 i know that...i would just like to get a good setup so this cam will work fairly well...i like the gains i seen people who run this cam got...with a nice set of port heads i think this will work out pretty good...i know i can go smallerand pick up maybe more gains,but iam pretty set on this cam as of now
