Default What do you guys know about the l92 truck heads

how much do they flow and should I just go with a set of aftermarket heads? I was talking to a friend who knows alot about the ls1's and he said that I should just get a set of l92's. Are they on all trucks or are they a part of an option package that was offered in different model years. Thanks guys

Matt

L92/LS3 heads can only be used on Engines with a 4.00" bore or larger (6.0-6.2) For more info try a search in the Gen IV Internal Engine Section.

Yes. You have to use the LS3/L76 intake if you want composite as it's the only one presently available for the square port heads. GMPP and Edelbrock make aluminum carb style intakes for if you wanted to go that route.
