Couple of questions concerning hp/tq gains with mods I got an '06 Impala SS. First time posting but i have been lurking around for a few weeks.
I installed a K&N intake as well as the magnaflow cat-back exhaust recently and would like to know if anyone knows what the hp/tq gains are on these.
I know for a fact that the K&N is 13.5 max Hp according to the site but i cant seem to find the tq or the magnaflow figures.
Anyone know? Thanks

The HP & TQ on the MF catback is claimed by the manufacturer to be about 9/9. In reality it's probably closer to 6. Together, net-10hp would be reasonable to expect...which would put a stock SS up near 255hp at the wheels.
EDIT: If you look for the "Free Magnaflow Exhaust" thread, you will find the dyno sheet from MF in there somewhere. Don't mind the one for the GXP claiming 22hp gained...that was erroneous and recently altered to show 9hp like the one for the SS.
