Default Let Me See Your Cutout Switch Location

Didn't know whether to post here or in Appearance...anyway...

I'm getting my cutouts installed and want to get some ideas of where to mount the damn switches.

Has anyone rigged it up so the switches are by the ASR & Foglamp switches (where they come stock at least)?

Thanks Fellas!

well i don't have any pictures right now, but my DMH cutout switch is mounted inside my old cigarette lighter mount. just removed the female part of the lighter assembly and left in the bezel/mount. it's a perfect fit. i'm going to epoxy it in there this week when my new cutout comes in the mail. it's pretty badass and looks like it belongs there.

I put mine in my cigarette hole

in this pic I am pointing at my line lock switch, next to it is my fan switch and the green light is for the cutout opener, then over in the lighter spot is the opener button

These are some very slick and cool locations. I mounted mine in the bottom of my ashtray, it's completely unseen unless you open the ashtray.

man it worked out pretty cool, you just take out the lighter and the switch slips right in and stays.
my cutout is a McCord PP2

For the ultimate stock look you could get a convertible top switch from Hawks. http://www.hawksthirdgenparts.com/co...ponents_5.aspx In the diagram on the top right you can select the convertible top switch, and then of course there are the little plastic covers... perfect for one gauge + cutout switch.

This is the one that comes with the DMH, they seem to be a common switch.
