I own a 98 camaro Z28. It will not start. I orignally took it to a mechanic because it was not holding oil pressure. Got the motor torn down, put a new oil pump on it. Ran fine...for a few days. Then it cut off on me in the middle of the road. Battery was bad. replaced the battery. Then it started, then when i put the car in gear, it cut off. new starter and alternator where then put on the car. Same thing: it ran in park for 15 minutes just fine, but when i put it in gear, it cut off. confused If anyone out there has any suggestions, i would greatly appreciate it. The car is just sitting in the garage and it is killing me!
