a friend told me that you can block off them steam pipe that leads to the radiator with out any ill effects. He told me the only reason GM put that in there was to warm the throttle body. Can I just block this off? Before you ask, I have an ls1 in a third gen so I really don't need this going into my radiator. lol

No, do not block them off. Your friend does not know what he is talking about. Search on here, there is several threads on the topic.
