Default guesstimate???

sup fellas, ive been around LS vehicles for a lil while and as far as dyno #'s go for LS1's and boltons, im ususally pretty good at getting a ball park figure...but ive only had my 01 ZO6 for a year and im leavin for the desert next month....i was wandering what kinda #'s id put down w/ a underdrive pulley, Vararam, LG's, Corsa extreme exhaust, and a tune.....now i did have it dynod bone stock...and i put down 320rwhp and 318fttq....yea i was lil dissapointed b/c from what ive read, most 01's were putin down 325hp-337hp...but i hadnt done a basic tune up, other than a new paper filter. my guess and hopes are for around 380ish?.......390ish by the grace of god

With a good tune, its safe to say 30-40+RWHP maybe more depending on your tuner/dyno etc.....

No chance in hell in picking up 60 to 70 rwhp with headers, CAI, catback, and a tune. 30 to 40 rwhp is pretty close to real gains.

Don't bother with an under drive pulley, unless you are doing a cam at the same time. The minimal gain does not offset the labor. Headers, tune and vararam should get you to about 365 rwhp. My 02Z did 385 with similar mods. Don't believe all the hype you read on the internet. Also the Corsa catback will gain you little to nothing over your stock catback. Do a cam instead of the catback and you can pick up another 30-40rwhp.

I doubt you'll pick up 60-70 RWHP but good luck anyways. I'm with the guys guessing 365RWHP.

im actually doin the pulley for the gas mileage...but if i gain anything from it...its a plus in my book. Im aware that 380+ is far fetched and 390 is to laugh at but 370rwhp wouldnt be unheard of...im addin corsa to give my car the sound i want.....idunno ill see what she does when i get it all installed.....which wont be until feb. time frame

I think I did 355-360 or something like that with Kooks headers, O/R X, K&N FIPK, and a tune. The 01 dont pick up as much do to the smaller cam than the 02-04 cars. You have to pull the steering rack to install the UD pulley which wont net you much for the labor invloved in pulling the rack.

You gotta remember, you've apparently been reading a lot of results from people with the infamous LS1tech generous dynos. You may be using a dyno that is actually accurate. It doesn't matter anyway. Dynos are just a tuning tool. You should gain about 30rwhp at best, and be happy with that.
