Just downloaded a ricer getting schooled by a Lingenfelter Vet on the street, and need a host to get it posted!

That is one of my all time favorites. I dont think the vette is really a Lingenfelter though. If I remember correctly it was a shop in California that did the car, it was a H/C car with spray. They had a post on racingflix.com a while back that said the guy has since added a Magnacharger. :hail: I love it when the guy in the ricer says something about the vette being scared and just about that time the guy in the vette decks it and takes off. Then the kids are like OH SHIT! That video and some other good videos can be found at racingflix.com. Their free service downloands kind of slow but some of them are worth the wait.

Z51 was a package for the vettes- Suspension I think. He just badged it Z51R. At the time of the race the car had a Doug Rippey heads/cam and spray (dont know if he sprayed it or not).

Yeah, it is a magnacharger. Will not clear the cowl on an F-bod. You would have to go with a centrifugal blower (vortech, paxton, procharger)

Im not trying to start anything, everyone here is a little to biased towards their car. Give credit where credit is due. That eclipse in the "rice" video was ahead of the c5 until prolly 80 mph. And imagine how much less it cost for the DSM. Although I would rather have the c5 due to the extra ladies and little more hp :)

u mean in the second run where the guy floored it about a second after them?

and braked right after? on a heads and cam car with "suspension mods"- it must be embarassing to lose that bad to such few mods.

the HP the corvette gained for heads and cam (for ex. SLP's combo under 3k= 178hp upgrade)

would COST the dsm how much? and then top end will still be only so-so (evo)

yeah since it's not much to what a to a turbo 6 does, and NOTHING comapred to a turbo 8.

matterfact, Koenigsegg fastest car in production is a SC v8.

SC v8= top fuel dragsters = 6000hp

I've seen that vette in person at Cedar Falls Raceway, IA. Its one of the best looking vette's I've seen. I have a few pics I took of the car. I knew the car looked familiar.
