Along with was it one or both axles. Just wondering after all the searching I did, what year and type vehicle has been having the most problem with axle's. Thanks alot

2001 Z28, used to run 9's before I got it. 88,000 miles.
Not even sure it's the original rear.
Drivers side, just replaced the drivers side front hub at 90,370. Maybe the previous owner was fat.

These cars are bad for eating axle bearings. If you are careful you can catch a bad bearing before it screws up the axle. Very common problem. By the way I replaced both axles @ about 70K.

2002 SS 6-Speed. 55,000 miles..... Axle bearing on DS went bad and chewed up the axle.. Replaced the bearing and axle. Got a Moser axle from Jaws Gear.. Great Service!

When I bought my car the rear rotors were warped, so I don't know if that caused the bearing to go bad or not

Yea, I never knew anything until it happened to me. After doing a search on here and other clubs, it happens alot. Just trying to get a feel on what year and what makes are having the most problems. You can read my post on it, but basically , noise and axle's pitted. Cost, whatever it takes. I drive it with alot of respect. I don't beat on it, my car is very important to me.

Thanks guys, keep it coming!
