Southern Members - ricerfest invasion at the Varsity 9/4/08

A group of guys on musclecar evolution are looking to make some american muscle presence at the Ricer Varsity monthly meet tomorrow so I wanted to see if any of you ATLians wanted to join in on the meet. Muscle cars are planning on meeting around 6:30. Below is a copy of the link to the post with all info. Anybody down with going?

I went down there with a buddy one night just to look at a few cars with my 98T/A (cam, headers, stall, etc.). Got several propositions to race but I wasn't there for that. Especially when its a 9-10sec black Supra..lol (at least thats what I was told later by another shop)! Hope you guys had a good time! Let me know if you go again as I would be down for that. My car is ok fast but I've got the tunes for the parking lot!! In fact some of the guys I saw down there I met again at a sound off a few weeks later and beat them! It was pretty cool.

1st thur of every month is a big ricer GTG. There are normally 8-15 domestics that show up and line up along the wall by the highway.

There were about 25-30 domestics this time and 12 of them were 4th gen fbodys. It was a pretty good turn out. It was real chill, so I'm going to head back next month.

I showed up a little later in the red z06, rode in with my buddy that had an older mk3 supra w/ a 2jz swap. i did see a few camaros and a nice orange ws6, also the black supra. it was kinda a ricer fest though and rather meet up on sat nights off of 85.. or the 2nd demestic meet up there.

I was there as well. I didn't park next to the domestics though. It was a pretty good turn out. I look forward to meeting you guys next time.

Yeh, i drove right by there when there was the supra and some lsx's and people in a circle sitting in chars. i parked and then started seeing boots on cars and went, oh shit maybe i need to move? cop said just dont park in a spot with a number and i moved up on the wall right under the parking deck.

If you don't get there by about 6:40 the spaces are taken. We try and save a few spots, but they fill up fast. Damn ricer just about ran over Jerry's mini busa until we yelled at him.:bang:
