I like the basic style, but if the hood was less curvy as it came to the nose, I think it'd look better. If it got sharper-looking at the tip like the sleek beaks nose.

it's not bad, i almost bought one that was already painted black but someone else got to it before i did, and i'm glad they did because i ended up with a killer deal on a real WS6 hood ($307.50 and it had never been painted or installed) i think the painted hood would have been $450 but the paint i was told wasnt perfect anyway.. and then i snagged another sweet deal on an oem WS6 airbox w/ k&n filter and all the couplings for $115 and then bought a few odds and ends (grills, MAF extension, blockoff plate for hole left by old airbox) all together the swap including painting the hood and my roof behind the t-tops cost around $1200 and paint was $730 of that

I think the stock ws6 hood for lt1's looks the best. I think it suits the style of the car much better than that bulky, 98 + wannabe.

i like it. There is another version of that hood. Where the nostrils begin (the front of the car), they're not so angled but more of a slight slope (from left edge of nostril opening to right edge of opening).

Those look better. hard to describe in words. without a visual aid.

That is a decent looking hood. I like it. Makes it look more like a dart, but they are aerodynamic so that's a good thing.

Eh, not feeling it. The whole front end of the LT1 cars are sharp, distinct, and more subtle than their LS1 counter parts. Throwing that hood on there reminds me of those stick on scoops that never match the lines of a car. The LT1 WS6 hood on the other hand is alot nicer.

i agree, it doesnt really flow with the front end. the stock ws6 hooks looks good, as well as the predator hood they make for lt1 ta's

I'm not feeling it either. I say if you want your hood to look like the '98+ Trans Am put a '98+ front clip on there, otherwise stick to the LT1 WS6 hood.

Just my .02 though

If I had to choose between that hood and the Predator hood I have now I would choose that one. Would still rather have a LT1 WS.6 hood though.

I like it. I bought the 3" SS hood from VFN. It's getting painted thursday. Will be interesting to see how it lines up.

It's not that bad, but that style WS6 hood doesn't flow well with the LT1 Body style IMO.
