Default 98 z28 HP Tuned???

Ok, My car is basically bone stock, I got the car tuned with HPT, he messed around with the shifting points and stuff. Now the car shifts into 2nd at 5900rpms at 48mph. When it hits 2nd the tires spin bad and the car gets almost out of control, sideways. Just wondering if this is normal? Thanks in advance....

The question is, why are you not spinning all the
way -to- second gear.

You might want to mellow out the 1-2 shift pressure
to keep it under control, maybe put back some
torque management. The hard jerk doesn't help
anything. It's just what people like to feel, makes
them think there's more power. But in your case
the excess is going to wheelspin, not forward
acceleration, so wasted.

Tone down the tranny setting before you have tranny parts all over the pavement
