Default Please help a nitrous newbie

A kit that I bought came with an Autometer Phantom gauge (mechanical) that uses the nitrous line into the gauge. The instructions say to either run a line from the bottle or from the solenoids. The current line that I have was not long enough so I added an extra 4 feet via a flare union.

I was thinking about replacing the union for a flare "T" and adding the line into that. What do you guys think?

Here are a couple of drawings of my current setup and what I am hoping to do.
