Any reason you went with a high pressure fuel setup rather then a low pressure?

I had a low pressure fuel system on my brothers camaro, I didnt like how every time you adjust the fuel pressure just alittle it would make a huge change. Were as with the high pressure its easy for me to dial in the A/F easyer.

I built it for a big shot and now I think I will stay here. I had a 200 shot on my stock bottem end forever and never hurt anything.

I do understand that aspect of it, but my concern was with the jets being so small on the fuel side I worry about something getting in one of them and clogging it up and then having a really bad day.

With that type of shot I'd still be flowing the fuel system to verify the pressure with it.

I do flow the kit, but when I am tunning the A/F on the regulator it is so much easy with high pressure. I am in no way saying the high pressure is better, I just like it because its easyer.

I can remeber the jets of the top of my head, but fuel pressure is 44-47 psi depending on the A/F and weather of the day. We use to run 21 degrees on my brother car on brother 408 and a 300 shot forever with out a problem, we set it at 18 once to try the 400shot but she just spun. whats your set up? those time are nasty!

I've been saying it for a while now.... there isnt much power in timing, the right A/F has alot more power than a couple degrees of timing. The problem is when you start to get the A/F close to right is when the timing will melt your ****!

Good luck to those of you running rich tune ups with alot of timing.

Run the car with 2-3 degrees out and I bet it doesnt slow down. Then leave the timing out and take some fuel away and watch it go faster.

IMO TR8's are not cold enough for a 300 shot.
I'm at a 350 shot and running NGK 11's .... hell I'd run 12's if they made them. lol
