Default GM part number(s) for 10 bolt 4.10 gears ring & pinion

Does anyone have the GM part numbers for 4.10 gears for a stock 10 bolt? I would like to see about purchasing them thru the local dealership. Has anyone ever done this and have the part number(s) handy? Thanks in advance.

I think you need to ask for a gear for a S-10 ZR2. Someone correct me if I am wrong. You could always buy the SLP gears, they are GM.

Yes , a lot of the S10's came with the 4:10 gear, But if it was me i would got after market gears, because there stronger and has the pinion depth all ready calculated for you, Witch saves you a lot of setup time.

Thanks for the reminder about SLP. I would like to try and pick some up locally before the weekend.

I have a set of Richmond 4.10s, but want to make sure and keep the rear end quiet as can be.

I use the Motive+ 4:30's and are very quit, The biggest thing about making gears quit is the setup , pinion depth & back lash, and ring gear & pinion mesh pattern. Richmond gears is known to be noisier than most gears because there a three cut gear , and other aftermarket gears are five cut gears witch is quieter

You can go to most parts stores and can order you a set of gears and have them the next day.

Thanks for the info. The places I have checked locally all said about 5 to 7 days out shipped unless I want to pay substantially extra shipping fees.
